Melissa Roach

Melissa Roach completed a B.Sc (Biology) at the University of Alberta and is currently working on a Ph.D. (Biology). Melissa spent three years as a TA in Intro Cell Biology – both in the lab and in workshops. She also has experience teaching Intro Botany labs. Melissa is adept at identifying common problems you encounter in learning the material and giving you strategies to overcome these problems. Melissa’s teaching philosophy is to build a culture of trust in the classroom, so you feel comfortable enough to assess your own understanding of the material and to ask the key questions you need to ask in order to master the material.
