Tammy Bailis has 3 decades experience teaching math at the high school, college, and university level as an instructor and tutor. Tammy's teaching philosophy is best summarized in her own words: "I have concluded that math is extremely easy and the current crop of students are the smartest kids that ever lived - so the only reason they have trouble with math is because they don't TALK IT! I believe math is a language therefore it should be spoken and heard. Because math demands precision, we must pay close attention to the words. This then is what I concentrate on with my students. My lectures are not so much lectures as verbal interactions between a coach and her team, planning and preparing to win the big game - ace the exam -- with efficiency, precision and most importantly - understanding."
