Adrienne Parent has completed a B.Sc. [Engineering
Physics] and is working on a Ph.D in Space Physics. For the past few years,
Adrienne has helped Physics students in her roles as a lab instructor,
TA, and tutor. Adrienne likes to resolve conceptual difficulties by breaking
complex ideas down into simpler ones that are more accessible to students.
Adrienne also teaches a methodical step-by-step problem-solving approach
that can be used to break difficult questions into manageable bits. Adrienne
approaches the teaching and learning of physics with a sense of humor
and a casual, relaxed style. She likes to establish a classroom learning
environment where everyone feels comfortable and free to voice their ideas
so that everyone can learn together.
