Dr. Lezhan Chen completed a B.Sc. (Chemistry), B.Ed., and Ph.D. (Chemistry) with numerous honours and awards including many appearances on the Dean's Honor List and the F.E. Beamish Cumulative Exam Award at the University of Toronto. Lezhan has thirty years of teaching experience at the high school and university level and he has published over thirty papers in academic journals. Lezhan's dynamic and interactive teaching style puts top priority on students' active learning and vivid understanding. He focuses on problem solving, logical reasoning, and encourages creative thinking. Lezhan has earned a reputation for teaching excellence.
