Joss Ives has completed a B.Sc [Honours] in Physics, an M.Sc in Physics, and he is working on a Ph.D. [Physics] at UBC. For the past seven years, Joss has been helping undergraduates brave the storm of first year Physics: help desks, tutorials, labs, private tutoring, and filling in for professors at lectures. Joss has a lot of experience teaching both students with a passion for Physics and those taking Physics as a prerequisite who just want the best possible mark with a minimum of stress. Joss' previous teaching experience has focused on first year Physics so he knows which concepts you find most difficult and how to tackle these concepts. Joss will explain things in ways that makes sense to you and his lively personality always keeps it fun.
