Back

Andrew Sydor has a B.Sc. (Honours) in Biological Chemistry from the University of Toronto and is in his second year of a Ph.D. program in Chemistry. Andrew appeared on the Dean's List twice and graduated with High Distinction in his program. He enjoys being a TA for Biomolecular Chemistry where he gets to teach fundamental microbiology and biochemical techniques to third year students. Andrew has received rave reviews from students on TA evaluations. Andrew believes in not simply memorizing course material but diving deeper into the material to understand the concepts and how to apply them. He likes to challenge students with questions which test their knowledge of the material. Overall, he loves to spread his enthusiasm to students and to get them excited about science.
